I guess its about time.........

Since my wonderful insomnia has decided to join me this evening I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself to anyone that was wondering "who is this chick?".

My name is Roisin (pronounced Row-Sheen) it's Gaelic, not French as most people think.
I'm in my mid 20's and happily married with three fur babies.

I am not new to crochet although I am new to selling my products and posting on a blog.

My granny taught me to crochet when I was little and I've been "hooked" every since. Pun intended.
I can not knit. I can cast on and I am fabulous at ripping out my work but I only get 1/2 a row done before I usually throw in the towel and go back to my crochet hooks.

Crocheting is my happy place. I lose all my stress (unless the pattern is being difficult) and get lost in the whimsy of creating things.

I love horror movies and hard rock although my baby items and cup cozies do not reflect it.

When I am not crocheting I am reading, studying for school, or working. Though usually when I am working or studying I am thinking about crochet and trying to work out new patterns in my head.

I NEVER write my patterns down. This is a horrible habit that I really need to break.

Fun fact: My lovely husband looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo

I hope you all have a wonderful morning/afternoon/evening and as always, happy crocheting. :-)

I'm so excited

Hello all,
It's been a very chilly week up here in Canada. Hopefully everyone is staying warm!

I am extremely excited because last week I learned that I am going to an aunty! Most of the baby things I have made have gone to friends for baby showers but now I am going to have a niece or nephew to spoil!

I got started right away making some gender neutral things for this baby including this adorable bib:
A friend of mine gave me some pattern books with baby items in them. Before this child arrives in the world I am sure I will have made most of them!

I have also been very busy with a new venture; Cup Cozies! I know these aren't new but I have only recently started making them. I several listed in my Etsy store I have also taken on some custom orders. More specifically for puppy dog cup cozies. I have several on order at the moment and am slowly plowing through them but I ran out of eyes and noses. :( Once they arrive from the USA I can finish all my orders up. :-)
Here are a two of the dog cozies that I have made and some of the ones I have listed on Etsy

Obviously the pug is still waiting for his eyes and nose! Haha

Happy Crocheting :-)
